Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Director, Software Engineering (Java & MuleSoft) to join our team. The person In this role, designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions. Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced software solutions using new and existing technologies.

  • Analyze system requirements and business processes to create effective and sustainable technical solutions.

  • Write, test, debug, and document code according to established engineering standards and best practices.

  • Ensure system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements are delivered successfully.

  • Serve as a technical lead on projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.

  • Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop innovative and efficient solutions.

  • Recommend process improvements, technology upgrades, and integration strategies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to align software solutions with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience developing and integrating solutions with MuleSoft.

  • Proven expertise in application development, system architecture, and integration frameworks.

  • Ability to interpret business challenges and translate them into robust technical solutions.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience working independently and in cross-functional, Agile development environments.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $165,000 - $175,000.

Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible
