Job description

National Sign & Marketing Corporation is an industry-leading electrical signage manufacturer/contractor.
We are looking to add a qualified Project Coordinator to our team. Project Coordinators play a major role in our day-to-day business.

Position Overview:
Provides administrative support to Project Managers for the successful and efficient execution of all client and sales-related requests.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following project support functions:
  • Generating art requests for project design as assigned.
  • Compiling all information and details as needed for an accurate scope of work. Ensuring site surveys are completed either by subcontracting the work, having a sales associate do it, or by completing the survey yourself.
  • Generating quotations as per the client-directed scope of work.
  • Soliciting subcontractor bids as required for submittal to the Project Manager for review.
  • Generate requests for products to local vendors and track delivery.

Responsible for the following administrative tasks:
  • Releasing projects to subcontractors as approved by the Senior Project Manager.
  • Scan and archive permits as needed. Notify appropriate staff member(s) when permits are in hand.
  • Completion of permit activity reports upon permit obtainment. Coordinate with the Project Manager and Permit Expeditor.

Other duties as assigned and specified by sales or supervisory staff:
  • Gather closing information from operations; Finals, signoffs, photos.
  • Keep all information organized and on an accessible spreadsheet for communication and coordination with the project manager.
  • May be required to visit job sites.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (minimum qualifications):
  • Must have at least 1 year of project coordinator experience or equivalent in a support role.
  • Computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take photos as outlined in project specifications and use tape measures.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic workplace.

Experience:
  • Project Coordinator: 1 year experience.
  • Education: High School Diploma- AA or BA is a plus.
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write in English.
  • Have a positive outlook.

Job Details:
  • The pay scale for this position depends on qualifications but will range $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr.
  • Commensurate with experience.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
