Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary
The Salesforce Platform Administrator II provides advanced Salesforce administration and platform support across multiple agencies and departments. This role supports small to medium-sized enhancements, user administration, security, data quality, and ongoing platform operations across 11 Salesforce organizations (orgs) utilizing Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud.
The Administrator II ensures Salesforce configuration and platform activities align with established security, governance, documentation, and compliance standards. The position works closely with agency stakeholders, vendor partners, and internal Salesforce teams to maintain stable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Experience working in public sector environments and multi-org Salesforce landscapes is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily Salesforce administration, including user provisioning, profile and permission management, and security configuration.
  • Implement small to medium-sized Salesforce enhancements, including page layout updates, Flows, automation changes, and minor data model modifications.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality through duplicate prevention, data hygiene, validation, and related activities.
  • Support Salesforce functionality across Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce user issues and escalate complex technical concerns when necessary.
  • Collaborate with agency stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into Salesforce configuration solutions.
  • Assist with release management activities, including sandbox preparation, testing coordination, and deployment support.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, documentation, audit, and platform management requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendor teams and internal Salesforce teams to maintain consistency and alignment across multiple Salesforce orgs.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards based on agency requirements.
  • Monitor Salesforce platform releases and recommend enhancements or improvements where appropriate.
  • Support multiple projects, agencies, and competing priorities in a multi-org environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-org Salesforce environment.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with agencies, vendors, and internal technical teams.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional Salesforce administration experience.
  • Experience supporting public sector organizations or multi-org Salesforce environments is preferred.

Certifications
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is required.
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification is required or must be obtained within the established timeframe.
