Job description

The Technology Manager will be responsible for a wide range of technical support needs and projects, which includes providing direct support to staff, applicants, and grantees, as well as vendor management and oversight of buildouts and implementations within our Salesforce-based grants management system.

We are seeking a highly organized, administrative level multi-facetted tech expert with extensive Salesforce experience. The Technology Manager will support ten staff who work remotely and on site in two office locations (San Francisco, CA and Annapolis, MD).

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Admin.
  • Experience in an operations and technical support coordination role.
  • Experience working within philanthropic or nonprofit organizations.

Candidates must be based in the United States.

Knowledge and Technical Skills (Admin Level)
  • Salesforce:
    • Experience Cloud
    • Custom objects
    • Automations: Flows
    • Salesforce Reports
    • Form and document creation: Nintex/Drawloop and Flows
  • Productivity: SmartSheet, Box, Adobe Sign and Bill.com, Candid (to be developed)
  • Communications: Macros, Creative Mail, Outlook for Salesforce and MailChimp

Mobility

This position’s work is primarily conducted at a desk setting. While the Foundation can provide accommodations such as standing desks, the majority of the time spent during working hours is stationary. Other considerations:

  • Use of virtual communications and online collaboration tools.
  • Continuous operation of a computer and other office technology.
  • Frequent communication (during standard office hours) with grantees needing technical support; must be able to exchange friendly and accurate information in these situations.
