Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to join our established team.
USPI Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Las Vegas, NV. We offer our physicians lightning fast turn over times and our patient's unique personalized service. this is a high volume, fast paced, multi-specialty surgery center! Our mission is to provide first class surgical services to the local community in a safe, comfortable, welcoming environment one in which we would be happy to treat our own families. We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including: Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Podiatry.

Job Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinical areas (including OR, Pre-OP/PACU, and SPD) and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Required Skills
  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing. BSN or higher degree preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Nevada.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in surgery setting. ASC experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
  • Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position
  • Current certification in BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support accredited by AHA.
