Nurse PCU III

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Observe, collect, and record patient biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care data; formulate nursing diagnoses, and measure progress.

Implement age-appropriate care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Administer medications with precision for patient safety.

Manage chronic ventilator patients, including emergency interventions.

Required:

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS within 30 days
  • ACLS within 6 months
  • Minimum of 2400 hours within the last 24 months as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care (PCU, ICU, ED)
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing

Preferred

  • BSN
  • PCU and/or ICU experience
  • PCCN
