Shift Information:
This position is Full Time working Night Shift: 7pm-7am
Currently offering a sign on bonus for qualifying full time RNs.

What you will do:
The Registered Nurse assumes accountability and responsibility for quality of care provided to patients and their families according to the Standards of Nursing Practice. The RN demonstrates alignment with the Mission, Vision, Values, and behavioral expectations of Peterson Health. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing and reassessing each patient and planning the care that includes the spiritual, emotional, physiological and psychosocial needs. The response to these needs are evaluated and documented in the patient’s record. Once developed, the Registered Nurse is responsible to see that the Plan of Care is carried out through performance and/or appropriate delegation to unit personnel.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Education:
BSN
Required Skills:
Knowledge and ability to perform the skills necessary for the unit specific competencies.
Preferred Skills:
PALS
 
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse, BLS, ACLS (if not currently ACLS certified, must complete within six months of employment, and thereafter renew within two months of the recommended date of renewal).

Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
CCRN
Required Experience:
Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients. One year experience as an RN on a medical/surgical unit.

Preferred Experience:
Previous experience as an RN in an Intensive Care Unit
