Job Overview
The Associate Director plays a critical role in supporting the growth and riskmanagement objectives of the portfolio. This role requires a combination of advanced financial analysis, strong credit analysis and relationship management abilities. Associate Directors contribute to client decisioning, credit structuring, and portfolio oversight, while also supporting new business development and delivering a superior client experience. Work is performed in close partnership with Managing Director and/or Director. The deal team is responsible for marketing, managing, and monitoring large commercial loan portfolios, and also supporting credit requirements and cross selling efforts for other businesses including subordinated debt, equipment leasing, derivatives, cash management, and trade finance. The team assesses financing opportunities of $10,000,000 or more, both on a syndicated and bilateral basis.
Analyzes credit information to support lending decisions and processes for new and existing Commercial banking loans and credit solutions in an assigned portfolio of clients. Makes credit decisions and recommendations in compliance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining an exceptional client service environment.
