Director Ria information

What is a Director RIA?

A Director Ria is typically a high-level executive responsible for overseeing a specific department, program, or business unit within an organization named Ria, such as Ria Money Transfer. The role involves strategic planning, managing teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth. Directors at this level are also responsible for setting goals, monitoring performance, and collaborating with other senior leaders to achieve organizational objectives. Their work often requires extensive experience in management, leadership, and the industry relevant to their organization.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a director at RIA, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Director at Ria, you generally need strong leadership abilities, strategic planning experience, and a solid background in financial services or money transfer operations, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with compliance systems, financial reporting tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms is typically required. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and cross-cultural collaboration skills help a Director stand out in this international setting. These qualifications and skills are vital to drive business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and effectively lead diverse teams in the fast-paced remittance industry.

What are some common challenges faced by a director in a Remittance and International Affairs (RIA) role, and how can they be addressed?

A Director in Remittance and International Affairs often faces challenges such as navigating complex regulatory environments across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and adapting to rapidly evolving financial technologies. Building strong relationships with global partners and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local and international regulations are essential for success. Effective Directors foster a culture of compliance, encourage open communication within their teams, and leverage technology to streamline operations and enhance security.

Job description

Client Service Associate – Wealth Management

Location: Pepper Pike, Ohio
Full-Time | In-Office

Are you someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, staying organized, and making sure things get done the right way?

Our client, an established and growing wealth management firm, is looking for a Client Service Associate to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, managing details behind the scenes, and being part of a collaborative professional environment.

You do not need to be FINRA licensed for this position. Some experience in wealth management, financial services, banking, investments, or a similar client-focused environment would be a strong plus.

What You'll Do

As a Client Service Associate, you'll help ensure clients receive responsive, accurate, and thoughtful service throughout their relationship with the firm. Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client service needs

  • Assist clients with account-related questions and requests

  • Prepare and process new account paperwork

  • Facilitate money movement, deposits, distributions, and other account transactions

  • Maintain accurate and complete client and account information

  • Coordinate paperwork and follow up on outstanding items

  • Work with custodians and other outside partners to resolve client service issues

  • Prepare materials and information for client meetings

  • Track requests through completion rather than simply handing them off

  • Maintain organized client files, records, and documentation

  • Partner with advisors and other team members to provide a seamless client experience

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and make the client experience even better

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings a true client service mindset. You understand that great service isn't just being friendly — it's being responsive, dependable, accurate, proactive, and willing to take ownership.

The right person will likely be:

  • Warm, professional, and comfortable communicating directly with clients

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests and priorities

  • Detail-conscious without losing sight of the bigger picture

  • Someone who follows through and likes getting things across the finish line

  • Comfortable learning systems, processes, and financial terminology

  • A strong team player who can also work independently

  • Curious and willing to ask questions and learn

  • Calm and resourceful when something doesn't go according to plan

Experience

Previous experience in wealth management, an RIA, brokerage, financial services, banking, or another client-service-focused financial environment is preferred.

Experience with account opening, money movement, client onboarding, custodial paperwork, CRM systems, or investment accounts would be especially valuable.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to join a professional, growing wealth management firm where client service matters and the work you do has a direct impact on both clients and the advisory team.

If you enjoy being the person clients and coworkers can count on — the one who keeps things moving, solves problems, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks — we'd love to hear from you.
