Position Summary

The person in this position under the direct supervision of a Materials Supervisor, processes material used in the manufacturing and service parts processes. Regularly moves material throughout the facility on foot and using material handling equipment. Completes any necessary paperwork and systemic transactions. Maintains inventory accuracy. Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse. Communicates with management and peers in a professional and courteous manner.

Note: It is a requirement to become a full time Light & Wonder employee as a Material Handler I, that you be a licensed Forklift Operator. The needed training and testing will be provided by Light & Wonder.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Operates warehouse machinery (Forklift, order picker, wave).
  • Has basic knowledge of and is able to navigate through a CK3/CK31 wireless handheld scanner.
  • Has the ability to use a desktop computer to complete necessary transactions.
  • Ability to look up items in ERP systems.
  • Is able to systematically and physically receive material from Vendors/Suppliers/Carrier.
  • Is able to systematically and physically put parts into location.
  • Ability to pick parts supporting multiple department's job functions.
  • Slip move case/sub-inventory transfer.
  • Ensure items received have correct dims entered in the appropriate system interface.
  • Communicate via company email.
  • Physically & systemically pack items.
  • Scan serialized items.
  • Create and affix labels using mobile printer.
  • Perform all required functions in Oracle system as trained.
  • Maintain accuracy and neatness of warehouse storage locations.
  • Complies with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability and availability to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies.
Qualifications

Training and/or Experience:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED. Relevant work experience will also be considered in lieu of formal education.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Basic reading and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to operate RF scanners and simple hand tools.
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand and electric pallet jacks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis and up to 100 lbs on occasion.
  • Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time, noise levels will vary but typically can be moderate to loud.
  • Overtime work could be involved and will be required as needed.
  • Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
  • Use of arms, hands, legs and back is required for repetitive motions of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
  • Position requires the ability to climb ladders and or onto equipment.
