Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary: 

  • Provides technical support to RF engineers and microwave design professionals on technical tasks.

  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data including laboratory test results and engineering design changes.

  • Troubleshoots electronic RF systems and produces engineering documentation, reports, and drawings including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.

  • Sets up test stands and test benches for RF testing.

  • Collects data including Power, S Parameters, Harmonics, Phase Noise, and Noise Figure.

  • Uses test equipment including PNAs, Signal Generators, and Signal Analyzers.

  • Proficiently uses a microscope for inspection and assembly tasks.

  • Reads and interprets block diagrams and schematics.

  • Performs assembly to print without work instruction help.

  • Builds wire harnesses to drawing specifications.

Requirements:

  • Interim clearance required prior to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting RF and digital circuits.

  • 3+ years of experience with laboratory equipment including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, and Signal Generators.

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • 3+ years of experience with electrical component parameters and packaging.

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Safe handling of ESD sensitive devices.

  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in electronics or closely related technical field.

  • Preferred: Familiarity with microelectronics assembly techniques, soldering, and assembly experience.
