Position Summary: The Retail Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while assisting with daily operations of the resort's retail outlets. This includes greeting guests, processing sales, restocking merchandise, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and professional, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service and Sales:
  • Greet all guests warmly and assist them in finding merchandise or answering product questions.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations and promote sales of souvenirs, apparel, and resort merchandise.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to complete transactions, handle payments, and issue receipts.
  • Assist guests with exchanges, refunds, and special requests in accordance with resort policies.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions:
  • Handle all cash, credit, and gift card transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Follow all financial policies, including safeguarding of funds and proper documentation of transactions.
  • Report any discrepancies or errors to management immediately
  • Store Presentation and Merchandising:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment.
  • Restock shelves, displays, and storage areas to ensure products are always available and attractively presented.
  • Assist with merchandise rotation, labeling, and inventory checks as directed by management.

  • Inventory and Stock Management:

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

Skills:

Certifications:
