This is a paid internship, at competitive rates. The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.
CNO Financial Group is hiring an IT Strategy Intern to work alongside our experienced IT Business Architecture associates, assisting with professional day-to-day work within the department.
Core responsibilities and deliverables:
  • Assist in gathering information from stakeholders to help identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Help create and update simple business process maps, workflow diagrams, and presentation materials.
  • Research and compile information from various business teams to support business architecture initiatives.
  • Assist with tracking project activities, milestones, and alignment to business objectives.
  • Support solution implementation activities by participating in testing, documenting results, and gathering stakeholder feedback.
  • Help monitor and report on project outcomes, business benefits, and key performance indicators.

What you need (Minimum requirements):
  • Progress towards a bachelor's degree in IT, or a related discipline.
  • Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of Dec 2027 - June 2029.
  • Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
  • Experience with various technologies and some prior hands-on exposure is preferred, along with the ability to leverage AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilot, ChatGPT, and GitHub CoPilot to analyze legacy systems and collaborate on developing transformational strategies.
  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
