Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Product Development Engineer to lead the research, design, and continuous improvement of our product lines. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams-bridging the gap between R&D, manufacturing, and marketing-to ensure our new product introductions (NPI) are both cost-effective and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
May document engineering processes and specifications.
Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
Perform all types of design changes target specifications and technology target specifications.
Change Originator for PCH's, RCH's, DCH's, QCH's, MCS's in Agile MAP, SAP and Design Control Systems.
Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine product design outputs.
Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
Perform change of designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing and field service operations.
Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools, such as CAD, CAM, CATIA, ProEngineer, SolidWorks or Siemens NX Software.
Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies - from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Required SkllsRequired Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
