As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, using tools like standardized assessment forms and interviews.
• Providing individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring these methods to the diverse needs of clients facing challenges such as trauma, mental health disorders, and social injustices.
• Developing and implementing personalized service plans that align with each client's goals and objectives, prioritizing their unique journeys toward empowerment and recovery.
• Advocating for clients' rights, enhancing access to essential resources and services, and addressing broader social justice issues that affect the community.
• Contributing to program development and evaluation, assisting in grant writing and reporting efforts that support the clinic's sustainability and outreach initiatives.
• Collaborating with various local organizations, government entities, and volunteers to improve service delivery and reach underserved populations.
• Actively participating in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities to foster team cohesion and community involvement.

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from various backgrounds, including marginalized and underserved groups. Your role will be essential in addressing their unique needs through a trauma-informed care lens, focusing on their strengths and skills to empower change.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required for this position.
• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory to practice.

• Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or similar setting is preferred, showcasing a deep understanding of community health issues and service delivery.
• Familiarity with social justice advocacy, trauma-informed care approaches, and available community resources is highly valued.
