This position is located in either Columbus, OH or Akron, OH.

Summary:
The Operations Manager- Fraud Recovery is responsible for the management of all operations activities for a specified industry grouping or major geographic region. Manages through supervisors and/or subordinate managers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, deliver, and track Hold Harmless/Indemnification agreements to recover bank and customer losses from other Financial Institutions

  • Prepare, deliver, and track incoming Hold Harmless/Indemnification agreements to recover bank and customer losses for other Financial Institutions

  • Supports all lines of business in financial loss mitigation and recovery involving fraudulent transactions

  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and work with other financial institutions in the mitigation of financial loss to bank/customers

  • Establishes long- and short-term strategic plans for the group/region that are in support of corporate goals and objectives.

  • Implements new policies and procedures to make the group/region more efficient and in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Provides directions in the establishment of new policies, procedures and technology.

  • Prepares, monitors, controls and reports on the group/region's fiscal and production performance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7 or more years of banking, fraud investigation, and/or recovery

  • 5 or more years of leadership/supervisory/team lead

Preferred:

  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues and meet deadlines

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability toanalyze situations and make independent decisions

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with professionalism, courtesy and tact, withstrong written/verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • PC & Internet proficient

  • Data analytics, and presentation of data in the form of dashboards/PowerPoint decks.

  • Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong ability to multi-task and shift/re-prioritize work throughout the day
