Position Overview

Change Makers LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in Fernley, Nevada. This remote position invites you to play a vital role in transforming lives and fostering positive change in individuals and families through advocacy, counseling, and support.

Work Environment

This full-time LCSW role is unique in that it operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients in the community health clinic framework. You will interact regularly with clients, community partners, and other stakeholders via virtual platforms, which fosters a collaborative environment that transcends geographical barriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, tailoring interventions to ensure individualized care.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide both individual and group counseling, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, trauma, grief, and adjustment challenges.
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Actively advocate for clients by facilitating access to necessary resources, whether they be healthcare services, community programs, or social benefits.
  • Engage in program development and evaluation, contributing insights for grant reporting and recognizing opportunities for service improvement within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families within the Fernley area who face various social challenges, including mental health needs, economic hardship, and social injustice. You will be instrumental in guiding clients from diverse backgrounds, nurturing their strengths and enhancing resilience while navigating through lifeโ€™s difficulties.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of social justice principles and trauma-informed care.
  • Proficiency in empathetic communication, with strong organizational and advocacy skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar community-focused setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
