Position Overview:

The HR Solutions Architect is responsible to provide leadership for designing, developing, governance and evolution of HR technology platforms, with primary responsibility for the Workday and UKG Dimensions ecosystems.

This role establishes the architectural vision and configuration framework that drives scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions across the organization. As a member of the IT organization, the HR Solutions Architect serves as a trusted advisor to HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, and Technology leaders. The role is responsible for translating business strategy into effective technology solutions, guiding platform governance, and promoting adoption of leading practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the HR technology architecture strategy, roadmap, and governance framework across platforms including Workday, UKG, ADP, and related solutions.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, and IT leaders to translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Lead the evaluation, governance, and adoption of AI and emerging digital capabilities across the HR technology landscape, identifying opportunities to improve employee experience, workforce productivity, operational efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery while ensuring alignment with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Lead the design and oversight of HR systems, integrations, data flows, and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and data governance standards.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement technology capabilities that improve operational efficiency, employee experience, and business outcomes.
  • Govern the HR technology portfolio by assessing platform health, identifying optimization opportunities, managing technical debt, and prioritizing enhancements and investments.
  • Provide architectural leadership and guidance to project teams, vendors, consultants, and technical resources throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for performance, scalability, reliability, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support strategic initiatives through technology evaluation, business case development, vendor assessments, and roadmap planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, promoting best practices, innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the HR technology landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, systems analysis, or related studies and experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in IT implementation and delivery projects.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect in the HR domain on projects or activities related to solutions such as Workday, UKG, ADP, Microsoft Azure, and SailPoint solutions.
  • Strong experience in managing Workday, UKG, ADP and other HR target architecture and landscape performance.
  • Strong experience or background in IT security applied to system integrations.
  • Excellent understanding of application development methodologies, infrastructure, and network architecture.
  • Good understanding of new and emerging technology trends and their practical application.
  • Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.
  • Ability to articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with vendors and offshore team members.
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization.
  • Experience working in a global and diverse environment and with virtual teams.

The hiring range for this position is$118,400 - $174,000 annually. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
