Job Description

This position covers our Region #2 for Refined Fuelwhich in general covers from Indianapolis as far northwest to Jasper & Newton Counties and as far southwest as Vincennes (Knox County).

Position Overview: The Director of Refined Fuel provides tactical leadership and support for Keystone Cooperative's Refined Fuels Departments and will be responsible for the innovation, governance, and vision necessary to identify, evaluate, develop, and monitor the overall effectiveness of each department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Supports Keystone Cooperative's stated Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Review inventories, margins, expenses and be responsible for profitability of assigned area.
  • Assist in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs, and objectives of Keystone Cooperative.
  • Provide advice and approval regarding staffing needs and decisions.
  • Oversee equipment needs, replacements and maintenance at all locations.
  • Collaborate and assist the Safety Director with the annual insurance audit, policy development and implementation. Ensure safety compliance standards are being achieved.
  • Will be responsible for tank file maintenance and accuracy.
  • Oversee and assist area Vice President with product supply and contracting.
  • Develop objectives to drive distribution efficiencies.
  • Work effectively and relate well with others. Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others, working to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Must have the ability to effectively lead employee meetings as well as present information and ideas.
  • Will represent the Keystone Cooperative's brand in a positive manner during times of networking or attendance at Trade Shows or other industry-related events.
  • Perform all responsibilities independently, safely and in compliance with environmental stewardship regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position will have direct reports.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfullyperform the essential functions of this job.The employee needs to stay in good physical condition to regularly liftmore than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical dutiesnecessary in running a Keystone location. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel,crouch, crawl, handle, feel and grasp.
