This DON position will have a "split" schedule - Tuesday - Thursday - 8am - 4:40pm; Friday and Saturday - 3pm - 11pm

Position Summary

As Director of Nursing (DON) , you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the  community. Priority one will be quality care, customer service and employee relations. In addition, regulatory management,  attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff.

We are looking for an experience Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our facility's care-giving team. The successful DON will be responsible for managing all aspects of nursing  care for the  community. Must  value safety, security and patient wellness above all else. We strive to provide the best care possible while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. The Director of Nursing is responsible for making sure those values are reflected in their staff at all times.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $85,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.Wage CommensurationThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supports practices, philosophy, nursing objectives and standards of the Nursing Department and participates in the revision of the aforementioned items as necessary to ensure quality care to all patients/residents.
  • Ensures Implementation of a patient/resident care planning process in compliance with patient/resident needs, facility policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator.
  • Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
  • Desire to enrich resident and staff's lives.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing, DON  in long term care - must have stable work history, dedication and commitment to lead our healthcare team.
  • RN (Registered Nurse) in state of residency, BSN a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills coupled with the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care homes.
  • Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
