As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Director of Real Estate & Facilities to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our company.

Reporting directly to the President, this role is responsible for overseeing our real estate portfolio, facilities operations, maintenance department, restaurant remodels, capital projects, and new restaurant development initiatives.

This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning, project management, operational execution, and relationship building while making a significant impact across a growing organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Real Estate & Property Management

  • Manage leased and owned properties across the organization.
  • Oversee lease administration, renewals, and landlord relationships.
  • Support site selection and development opportunities for future growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and long-term value.

Facilities & Maintenance Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Maintenance Department.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs across all locations.
  • Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with company standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.

New Restaurant Development

  • Serve as project lead for all new restaurant openings.
  • Coordinate timelines, budgets, permitting, inspections, utility activation, and opening readiness.
  • Partner with Operations, HR, Marketing, IT, Finance, contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure successful launches.
  • Support new restaurants through opening and stabilization.

Remodels & Capital Projects

  • Lead restaurant remodels, renovations, and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project completion.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with minimal operational disruption.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop capital expenditure plans and facility investment strategies.
  • Manage maintenance and capital budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations and reporting to executive leadership.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in facilities management, construction management, real estate, property management, or multi-unit operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, contractors, or facility operations.
  • Experience managing multiple locations and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong budgeting, project management, and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-unit restaurant, retail, hospitality, or franchise experience.
  • Experience leading restaurant remodels and new restaurant openings.
  • Commercial lease administration and property management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
