We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Growth & Commerce Product Analytics to lead the analytics function that helps Peacock grow its subscriber base, improve commerce experiences, reduce churn, and increase ARPU. This leader will partner with Product, Engineering, Growth, and other business teams to turn customer behavior, product performance, and business goals into clear decisions and measurable outcomes.ย 

In this role, you will own the analytics strategy, operating model, and team supporting the full Growth and Commerce product journey, including acquisition, conversion, retention, upgrades,ย pricingย and packaging,ย winback, offers, partnerships, account management, and monetization. You will help teamsย identifyย high-value growth opportunities, diagnose customer friction, influence roadmap priorities, improve experimentation quality, and scale trusted analytics through AI-enabled workflows, Databricks, and self-service tools.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Leadership:ย Build and lead a high-performing Growth & Commerce Product Analytics team of managers and individual contributors focused on subscriber growth, retention/churn reduction, and ARPU.ย 

  • Strategy Development:ย Develop and execute the analytics strategy, operating model, and roadmap for Growth & Commerce Product Analytics across NBC Global Streaming.ย 

  • Business Impact:ย Identifyย high-value opportunities across acquisition, conversion, retention, upgrades,ย pricingย and packaging,ย winback, offers, partnerships, account management, and monetization.ย 

  • Product Partnership:ย Partner with Product, Engineering, Growth, and other business teams to prioritize product bets, diagnose customer friction, and connect roadmap decisions to measurableย subscriberย and revenue outcomes.ย 

  • Experimentation:ย Influence the Growth and Commerce experimentation roadmap by improving hypothesis quality, metric definition, guardrails, test sequencing, readouts, and application of learnings to future product decisions.ย 

  • Data Quality:ย Partner with data engineering and instrumentation teams to define analytics and experimentation data requirements,ย validateย data quality, and ensure production data models and pipelines reliably support reporting, self-service tools, and decision-making.ย 

  • Analytics Scale:ย Advance AI-enabled, Databricks-based, and self-service analytics workflows that improve analyst productivity, automate recurring readouts, accelerate diagnostics, and make trusted insights easier for stakeholders to access and act on.ย 

  • Communication:ย Translate complex analyses, experimentation results, and customer behavior patterns into clear executive narratives that explain what is happening, why it matters, and what actions should be taken.ย 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualificationsย 

  • Experience:ย 10+ years of applied experience in product analytics, growth analytics, commerce analytics, data science, business analytics, orย relatedย analytical discipline in a high-scale digital product environment.ย 

  • Leadership:ย 6+ years of people management experience with a record of building, leading, and elevating high-performing teams of managers and individual contributors.ย 

  • Growth & Commerce Analytics:ย Direct experience supporting growth, commerce, subscription, lifecycle, retention, monetization, eCommerce, or customer journey product teams.ย 

  • Business Acumen:ย Strong understanding of subscriber growth, churn reduction, ARPU, LTV, paid conversion, upgrades,ย pricingย and packaging,ย winback, offer performance, funnel optimization, and customer behavior analysis.ย 

  • Technical Skills:ย Hands-on experience with SQL and large-scale datasets, with experience using Python, R, notebooks, Databricks, or similar analytical tools to conduct analysis, automate workflows, and guide analytical quality.ย 

  • Experimentation:ย Strong understanding of A/B testing, metric design, statistical concepts, causal measurement, power, guardrails, and result interpretation.ย 

  • Analytics Tools:ย Experience building or scaling dashboards, automated reporting, diagnostic tools, metric frameworks, self-service analytics capabilities, or AI-enabled analytics workflows.ย 

  • Communication:ย Proven ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders by translating complex analytical work into clear business implications and actionable recommendations.ย 

  • Education:ย BA/BS in a quantitative, technical, business, scientific, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degree preferred.ย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Industry Experience:ย Background in streaming, media, eCommerce, consumer technology, subscriptions, marketplaces, gaming, fintech, or other high-scale digital product environments.ย 

  • Advanced Measurement:ย Familiarity with CUPED, regression adjustment, causal inference, heterogeneous treatment effect analysis, quasi-experimental methods, or incrementality measurement.ย 

  • Analytics Platforms:ย Experience with Databricks SQL, Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, Databricks Genie, or similar self-service and AI-enabled analytics capabilities.ย 

  • Scaled Analytics:ย Track record building analytics operating models, metric governance, self-service analytics programs, experimentation enablement practices, or scalable decision-support workflows.ย

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
