You're the person who always finds the right solution at the right price.

You thrive on organization, negotiation, and strategic thinking. You enjoy building vendor relationships, optimizing purchasing processes, and ensuring materials arrive on time so projects never miss a beat.
ROXBOX is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing operations across our modular construction projects. You'll develop procurement strategies, negotiate vendor agreements, improve purchasing systems, and collaborate with Design, Estimating, Production, and Receiving to ensure every project has the right materials at the right time.
.

What You'll Do

  • Order materials, equipment and supplies for the shop, office, and all active projects.
  • Plan procurement needs alongside Estimating and Production, on Google Sheets.
  • Define, evaluate, and refine preferred vendor relationships.
  • Develop and improve procurement SOPs and purchasing workflows.
  • Track purchases, deliveries, and procurement lists, on Google Sheets that are shared files, for team collaboration.
  • Oversee the Receiving team to ensure proper documentation and storage. Verify stock materials and replenish as needed.
  • Train and coach the Receiving team on procurement SOPs and filing systems.
  • Cross-reference design drawings against BOMs for accuracy before procurement.
  • Review completed projects with Estimating to reconcile material costs and update cost groups.
  • Manage vendor returns and refunds promptly.
  • Create weekly purchasing expense forecasts, and adjust based on project timelines, available funds, expedited requests, and material lead times.
  • Develop procurement strategy and continuously improve purchasing workflows.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Construction or manufacturing purchasing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Comfortable reading construction drawings and bills of materials.
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
  • Construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience required.
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and pricing.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Modular building experience not necessary, but a plus

Compensation & Details:

  • $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
  • Full-time position with Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and additional benefits
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Houston, TX (77041)
  • Reports directly to the Director of Operations

Why ROXBOX:

  • Join a growing company where organization and follow-through make a real impact
  • Collaborate with design, production, and project management teams
  • Leadership that values accountability, continuous improvement, and smart problem-solving
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow with the company

How to Apply:

  • Submit your resume and brief cover letter.
    • In your cover letter, please briefly address the following:
      • Describe a situation where your organization or follow-through prevented a project issue from becoming a larger problem.
