About the Role

Happiest Baby, the company behind the award-winning, SNOO Smart Bassinet, seeks a Director of Operations to lead and scale our supply chain as we grow domestically and internationally. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic thinking and operational excellence.

Why Happiest Baby?

We're in an emerging market with a product that genuinely changes families' lives. We move fast, encourage innovation, and want operators who bring data and creativity in equal measure. This role has real scope and national and global impact.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full supply chain: suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, logistics, and distribution
  • Lead S&OP processes to align demand planning, inventory, and production with business goals
  • Manage inventory replenishment and procurement to ensure healthy in-stocks and efficient use of cash
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms; conduct supplier business reviews and site visits
  • Drive quality, fulfillment accuracy, and cost efficiency across the operation
  • Lead planning, production, and logistics for new product launches from inception through mass production
  • Partner with cross-functional teams - Marketing, Product, Finance, CS, and external vendors for seamless execution
  • Leverage AI tools (including Claude), dashboards, and predictive analytics to continuously improve performance

What You Bring

  • 10+ years managing end-to-end supply chains for physical consumer goods
  • Experience leading S&OP processes across a cross-functional organization
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Hands-on experience with international shipping, distribution, and working directly with manufacturers
  • Proficiency with ERP or proprietary operations systems; ability to work in and optimize custom-built tooling
  • Experience building SOPs, managing KPIs, and running supply chain analytics
  • Excellent communicator — equally comfortable in a supplier negotiation and an executive briefing
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with AI-powered tools
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

Occasional travel required (<15%)

Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000
