The First Vice President (FVP), Predictive Analytics Management is responsible for leading the company's enterprise-wide predictive analytics strategy to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. This executive partners with senior leadership across Sales, Operations, Credit, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and Technology to develop advanced analytical models, forecasting tools, and business intelligence solutions that optimize performance and enhance customer outcomes.


The ideal candidate is an experienced analytics leader with expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis, and data strategy, preferably within the mortgage lending or financial services industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization's predictive analytics strategy aligned with business objectives. 
  • Lead a team of data scientists, business analysts, and analytics professionals. 
  • Build predictive models that improve loan performance, customer acquisition, lead conversion, pricing, retention, and operational efficiency. 
  • Develop forecasting models for loan production, funding volumes, staffing, profitability, and market trends. 
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Capital Markets, Underwriting, Servicing, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and IT to identify analytical opportunities. 
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards and KPI reporting. 
  • Leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced statistical techniques to improve business outcomes. 
  • Monitor model performance and continuously refine predictive algorithms. 
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across enterprise      analytics platforms. 
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and board members. 
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, predictive analytics methodologies, and industry best practices. 
  • Support strategic initiatives including automation, digital transformation, and process optimization. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field. 
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred. 
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or quantitative modeling. 
  • 7+ years leading high-performing analytics teams. 
  • Mortgage lending, banking, fintech, or financial services experience strongly preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, forecasting, machine learning, and statistical analysis. 
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data architecture. 
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
