Location: Spring Ridge, MD 21788

Practice Lead: Dr. Martin Sarkar

Schedule: Full-Time, 4 days/week (36 hours/week, 8:00 AM start, No weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Endocrinology team. This role is focused on expanding our specialized clinical services, working in close collaboration with our practice lead, Dr. Martin Sarkar, to ensure exceptional continuity of care and support a rapidly growing patient base.

Scope of Practice

  • Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients requiring specialized endocrine care and chronic disease management.

  • Comprehensive Endocrine Care: Initial focus is primarily on managing follow-up patients for diabetes care and thyroid disorders, with excellent opportunities to expand to a broader spectrum of complex endocrinology conditions as confidence grows.

  • Clinical Workflow: Structured scheduling to ensure thorough patient assessments and high-quality follow-up care management.

  • Clinical Procedures: Routine outpatient endocrine monitoring, medication management, and patient lifestyle education.

  • Volume & Call: Anticipated average of 18 patients per day once fully ramped up; clinical call is fully managed by the Lead Physician, resulting in zero call or weekend responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).

  • Open to both experienced providers and highly motivated new graduates who are eager to learn and benefit from dedicated, direct physician mentorship and training.

  • Active, unrestricted nurse practitioner license and DEA registration in the state of Maryland.

  • A proactive, collaborative team mentality with a strong "no task is too small" approach to patient care and practice operations.
