SUBJECT:               Certified Staff Vacancies for the 26-27 school year - Varsity Softball Head Coach Opening                

Milton-Union High School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Varsity Softball Head Coach.

We are looking for a passionate leader who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while fostering a positive, competitive, and educational athletic environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading all aspects of the varsity softball program.
  • Developing student-athletes' skills, character, and sportsmanship.
  • Building positive relationships with players, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Maintaining compliance with all school, conference, Ohio High School Athletic Association, and state regulations.
  • Promoting academic success and responsible citizenship among student-athletes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of softball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and lead student-athletes.
  • Must meet all coaching certification, background check, and pupil activity permit requirements established by the State of Ohio and the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
