Job description

Head of Product / Director of Product Management, 10xTravel About 10xTravel

10xTravel is one of the most trusted names in points and miles. For over a decade we've taught hundreds of thousands of travelers through our course, editorial content, and a 400,000-strong community how to turn everyday spending into extraordinary travel. In 2026 we launched a subscription product built on top of our points-and-miles platform where members link their cards and get benefit tracking so perks don't go to waste, award-availability alerts, a private community, and tools to get the most points from their cards.

The role

We're hiring our first-ever Head of Product to grow our proven subscription into a major source of revenue alongside the affiliate work we're known for. At 10xTravel, our leaders are doers; you'll set direction, write specs, and dig into the funnel data. You'll own the product end to end across web and native mobile, and the growth of the subscription: activation, conversion, and retention. Rather than inherit a product org, you'll start ours and build it your way. You'll work in lock step with engineering, and partner closely with marketing. This role reports directly to the COO.

What You'll Own and Lead
  • Grow durable, compounding recurring revenue by driving activation, tool onboarding, conversion, and retention across web and mobile
  • Own the product roadmap end to end, every priority tied to revenue and retention
  • Lead product direction and requirements, and partner with developers to ship, accountable together for outcomes, not output
  • Lead Voice of Customer including research, NPS/CSAT, intercept surveys, and user feedback
  • Ship native iOS and Android apps and grow adoption after launch
  • Build a lightweight testing-and-analytics habit: experiments, A/B testing, event tracking, and product data
  • Work with marketing to grow the subscription and protect affiliate revenue
  • Own product leadership across the company, driving alignment through stakeholder management and influence
What you bring
  • 7+ years in product management: senior ownership of a consumer subscription, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or digital-media product, accountable for activation, conversion, retention, and revenue
  • Subscription growth expertise: funnel instrumentation, churn diagnosis, cohort analysis, experimentation, and monetization
  • Mobile track record: launching native iOS and Android apps and growing adoption
  • Harden-and-scale experience: an early product with traction matured into a durable growth engine, not zero-to-one or big-company optimization
  • Shipping with a small dev team: writing specs engineers build from, with the technical fluency to weigh trade-offs and earn their trust
  • Project and stakeholder management: bringing structure to cross-functional work and driving it to completion
  • Self-starting and inclusive: hands-on in a small, fast team, owning the work without owning it alone
Nice to have
  • Experience taking a media or affiliate business toward subscription
  • Background in the points and miles world, travel, loyalty, or fintech
  • Knowledge of the credit-card affiliate business
  • Experience shipping AI-powered features
What We Offer

Location: Fully remote (US)

Compensation: $150,000 to 190,000 base, plus a performance bonus tied to MRR and retention

Benefits

  • Unlimited paid time off
  • 401(k) with company match
  • $1K Your Way, annual support to pursue your personal interests
  • Medical, with multiple plans to choose from
  • Dental and vision
  • Company-paid life, with voluntary additional life available
  • Short and long-term disability
  • Hospital, critical illness, and accident coverage
  • FSA and HSA
  • Annual profit share program

This role is remote and US-based. Expect some domestic travel for team gatherings and customer events. 10xTravel is an equal-opportunity employer. At this time, we are not hiring applicants from the state of Colorado
