We are currently looking to hire a Director, Planning Performance Management based in Louisville, CO or White Plains, NY!ย 

Job Description:

The Director of Planning Performance Management leads the design, governance, and continuous improvement of core Planning routines-including Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), Global Planning System (GPS), and Performance Management-ensuring they are purpose-driven, interconnected, and aligned with business objectives. ย This leader acts as a catalyst for transformation, embedding a culture of accountability and operational excellence through the "Running Planning as a Plant" philosophy.ย  By partnering cross-functionally, the role harmonizes Planning and Operations, drives data transparency through performance dashboards and KPI trees, and ensures rapid responsiveness to business needs. The Director also spearheads change management, root cause analysis, and inventory performance initiatives, leveraging cross-functional teams and analytics to deliver measurable impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owns the operating models for Planning routines including S&OE, GPS, and Performance Management.ย 
  • Defines purpose/goals, interconnection/dependencies, and continuous improvement of the Planning routines.
  • Leads governance and standardization efforts across Planning routines and reporting structures.
  • Acts as Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead for Planning establishing accountability mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement of Planning metrics. Embodies and carries the edict of "Running Planning as a Plant".
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Planning routines including S&OE and GPS.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to harmonize performance routines and drive execution.
  • Represents Planning in transformation workshops and governance reviews.
  • Leads change management and adoption efforts for Planning routines and KPIs.
  • Drives root cause analysis and action planning for underperforming KPIs.
  • Leads Inventory Performance leveraging Supply Teams, COE, and Inventory Analyst resources.
  • Publishes and maintains Planning performance dashboards and KPI trees.
  • Responds to internal and external requests for Planning metrics and insights.
  • Provides ad-hoc reporting with quick turnarounds in situations of business crisis.
  • Manages the Senior Manager, Performance Management and the Manager, Inventory Excellence, while providing oversight of the Inventory Analyst partnership with Genpact.
  • Is the interim manager for the Center of Excellence team

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in performance management, governance, and reporting.
  • Broad knowledge of Planning functions and processes including S&OP/S&OE.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to generate executive-level reporting.
  • Experience with transformation initiatives and cross-functional leadership.

The base compensation range for this position is $145,000 - $230,000 commensurate with experience. About You

Experience and Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA/ Master degree a plus
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, planning, or project management roles (preferably in the CPG or food & beverage industry)
  • Experience people manager; leading through change and navigating a matrixed organization
  • Experience with advanced planning tools (e.g. o9) and analytic tools (PowerBI and Excel)
  • Proficient in use of communication tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
  • APICS (CPIM, CSCP, or CPF), Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management certification is a plus.
