Network Engineer II, hybrid role, supporting the Eden Prairie, MN office

Network Engineer (Junior to Mid Level)
Location:
Hybrid, Eden Prairie, MN (Must live within commuting distance of the office due to a hybrid arrangement)
Must be a US Citizen
Background check and drug test are required


Overview

We are seeking a junior to mid level Network Engineer with a solid Cisco networking foundation and approximately three years of hands on enterprise networking experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands on network engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco switching and routing
  • Experience supporting enterprise Cisco network environments
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center
  • Working knowledge of Cisco FMC/FTD firewalls and firewall policy management
  • Familiarity with Cisco ISE, including 802.1X, TACACS+, segmentation, and posture
  • Experience supporting Cisco SD WAN environments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Cisco Security Cloud
  • Nexus Dashboard
  • ThousandEyes
  • Azure or AWS networking
  • Basic Python scripting

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure
  • Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and SD WAN solutions
  • Manage firewall policies and network security best practices
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform system upgrades
  • Maintain network documentation and follow change management procedures
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve network performance, reliability, and security
  • Contract to hire arrangement, which is already in place.
