We are seeking a seasoned Director of Warehouse Operations to lead our 24/7, high-volume distribution center in McDonough, GA. This critical leadership role will oversee the seamless integration of advanced ERP systems and automated storage solutions (AS/RS). The ideal candidate will serve as the architect of our fulfillment strategy, ensuring our CPG products move through the supply chain with safety, precision, and speed.

  • Operational Excellence: Lead a 24/7 multi‑shift operation, managing Shift Leaders and Supervisors to meet aggressive throughput targets while maintaining a safe, audit‑ready, and highly engaged work environment.
  • Systems & Automation: Act as the subject matter expert for WMS platforms and optimize the performance of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS). Drive adoption of emerging technologies, including visual load verification systems, to reduce shipping errors and outbound damages.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long‑term scaling strategies, including labor planning, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and effective integration of automation technologies across internal teams and third‑party partners.
  • CPG Precision: Ensure strict adherence to inventory accuracy standards, FIFO practices, and regulatory compliance (FDA, SQF) typical of the consumer packaged goods industry.

  • Safety & Culture: Champion a "Safety First" culture across all shifts, ensuring OSHA compliance while fostering strong employee engagement and accountability.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive leadership in warehouse or distribution operations, including at least 2 years at the Director level within the CPG sector.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands‑on experience with advanced AS/RS technologies, WMS, and ERP systems. Proven success managing automated solutions such as shuttles, cranes, and forklifts.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree preferred).
  • Financial Acumen: Experience managing full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and labor cost control.

The salary for this position is determined by a combination of experience, skills, and education level. The compensation range is $130,000-155,000. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
