About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to support international operations by ensuring critical OT systems remain secure, reliable, and available. This role works closely with OT Operations, Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Digital teams to improve operational resilience and support strategic technology initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening OT architecture, supporting cybersecurity efforts, delivering infrastructure projects, and driving continuous improvement across industrial technology environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Technology & Cybersecurity
  • Improve OT architecture, reliability, and cyber resilience.
  • Provide Level 3 technical support and assist with OT cybersecurity incidents.
  • Troubleshoot complex OT infrastructure and system issues.
  • Maintain OT asset registers, technical documentation, and maintenance strategies.
  • Monitor system performance and emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Support risk assessments and remediation activities.
Project Delivery
  • Contribute to project requirements, design reviews, and technical assessments.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Configure and deploy OT infrastructure across multiple technology domains, including networks, servers, and applications.
  • Help define technology improvement priorities and support regional OT roadmaps.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure OT maintenance activities are compliant and effective.
  • Manage changes and approvals through MoC and ITIL processes.
  • Support OT risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Prepare reports and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Work closely with OT operations teams, control engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and service providers.
  • Coordinate external vendors and prepare scopes of work for improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with global Digital and Cybersecurity teams to promote best practices and cyber awareness. p
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEssential
  • 5+ years of experience working with Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or related control systems environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across OT networks and infrastructure.
  • Practical understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred
  • Experience within energy, resources, or other industrial environments.
  • Exposure to owner/operator organizations.
  • Knowledge of cloud-connected OT environments.
  • Experience with process safety, functional safety, or reliability methodologies.
  • Cybersecurity and/or networking certifications.
