Job description

Duties and responsibilities
• Assisting with plumbing, digging trenches, installations, laying out of tools, and performing
several other masonry works
• Ensuring that construction sites are well-managed and kept clean
• Tidying up and preparing construction sites, while also ensuring that safety rules and regulations
are strictly adhered to
• Carrying out a variety of assigned tasks on construction
• Getting rid of the trash, debris, and other potentially dangerous materials from construction
sites
• Assisting construction project manager in the process of surveying to determine what materials
are being kept or removed for an upgrade
• Loading, unloading, and identifying building materials and ensuring that they are distributed to
the appropriate locations
• Servicing and operating compressors, generators, power/hand tools, and several other
construction equipment
• Adhere to all rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on site
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
• 2 years' experience in an industrial construction environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
• A positive attitude, self-motivated, eagerness to learn and a willingness to work hard every day
• An ability to lead by a positive example and a commitment to working as a team
• Attention and commitment to safety and an ability to follow instructions
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record if assigned to a company vehicle
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Working conditions
• Must be able to accommodate customer needs by working flexible hours which may include
weekends
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, vibrations and a wet and /or humid environment
