Position Overview

One Step at a Time Psychiatric Services is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed mental health therapist to join our fully remote team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide effective counseling through telehealth services. You will engage with clients via video chat, focusing on enhancing their mental and emotional well-being through a solution-oriented approach. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s degree and be licensed to practice independently as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert counseling to clients, focusing on low-acuity issues related to emotional and mental health, while emphasizing preventative strategies.
• Utilize various methods, including observational assessments and conversations, to identify underlying psychological issues.
• Encourage clients to articulate their emotions and experiences, facilitating an open dialogue that fosters trust and vulnerability.
• Assist clients in setting clear, attainable goals, developing actionable plans, and gaining insight into their life situations.
• Implement a solution-focused approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients who are screened to ensure they are stable and seeking support for low-acuity mental health concerns. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a valid, unrestricted license to practice independently as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses accepted; candidates must have no disciplinary actions on their license.
• Proficiency in computer use is necessary, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will possess experience in providing telehealth services, showcasing familiarity with teletherapy platforms. A background in working with diverse populations or specializing in particular therapeutic modalities will be considered an asset. Compensation and Benefits

Licensed mental health therapists at One Step at a Time can expect an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend that contributes to their overall compensation package.
