Job summary

We are looking for a software engineering manager to lead, manage and scale our high performing team that is responsible for our certificate authority platform. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing the technical direction, strategic planning, and execution of key projects while fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture. This role also entails working closely with senior leadership, product management, and other stakeholders.

What you will do

Collaborate with an agile, cross‑functional team in the technical planning and strategy of large‑scale backend systems, with a focus on secure and high‑availability web services supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Assume accountability for the efficient delivery of new features and functionality with uptime, compliance, and quality in mind. Develop a deep understanding of PKI products, architecture, and systems. Understand compliance standards to ensure deliverables meet industry expectations. Manage and scale a highly capable engineering team.

What you will have
  • 5+ years of people management experience, managing software engineering teams.
  • 5+ years professional experience in software development.
  • Experience with leading teams on large scale, cross functional software projects.
  • Experience with C++ and Go.
  • Expertise developing, consuming, and evolving RESTful web services.
  • Experience building cloud native applications, services-based architecture, DevOps principles and continuous deployment.
  • Knowledge of both relational (MSSQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex technical issues.
