Job Title: Director, Business Development Job Category: Business Development and Marketing Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local Anticipated Posting End: 10/30/2026 The Opportunity: We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Sr. Director of Business Development for the Sensemaking division of CACI's Space Line of Business. In this critical leadership role, you will drive growth for a space portfolio generating over $1.3B in annual revenue

You will be responsible for pipeline development to include the seeding, shaping and winning business. You will build and foster trusted partnerships across the U.S. Space Force, Department of War (DoW), and Intelligence Community (IC)

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with existing customer relationships and strong network in the Space and Intelligence Community. You will bring technical expertise in digital modernization, satellite ground systems, and scaling bespoke software into mission-ready applications for IC, DoW and commercial-grade platforms. You will navigate complex, unstable government funding cycles while consistently driving aggressive year-over-year top and bottom-line growth.

Working shoulder to shoulder with customers to create value for the operational community and in turn the CACI Shareholders is your priority. Responsibilities: Strategic Growth & P&L Growth: Oversee strategy and business development to sustain and exceed targeted P&L requirements across a mixed portfolio of licensed software and bespoke development. Customer Engagement & Capture: Cultivate trusted relationships with government stakeholders, Program Acquisition Executive Offices (PAEs), and IC customers to discern needs and proactively shape future acquisitions.

Market Expansion: Spearhead the transition and expansion of software development services from the IC into the broader DoD, championing digital modernization initiatives. Pipeline & Proposal Management: Lead long-range planning, pipeline development, and backlog generation. Guide proposal strategies and color team reviews ensuring alignment with the customer and executive leadership for profitable, sustainable growth.

Product Shaping: Identify and shape new hardware and software offerings by analyzing geopolitical sentiment, evolving customer priorities, CACI investments and emerging technology advancements. Strategic Leadership: Leverage soft power of influence and cross-functional leadership to drive organizational objectives across a matrixed environment. Qualifications: Required: Experience: 15+ years of strategic leadership experience in the Space and Intelligence sectors, with a proven track record of collaborating with customers and internal cross functional stakeholders winning new business.

Experience with Ground Enterprise Comms, Ground Enterprise Systems, Special Comms Missions, Launch & Range Enterprise. Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (Master of Science degree highly desired).

Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Business Development: Proven mastery of pipeline management, long-range planning, and navigating USG Opportunity Management Systems (SAM.gov, ARC, NSTXL SpEC) Desired: Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in navigating CRM, pipeline, and ERP tools including Salesforce, GovWin, CostPoint, Unanet, and SAP. Technical Foundation: Strong engineering background with foundational knowledge in Satellite Ground processing, RF systems, software development (Python, C++, C) and agile management tools (Atlassian suite) to effectively communicate with engineering teams, evaluate architectures, and engage technical customers
