Director of Social (Beauty) Employment Type: Full-Time Our client, a leading beauty and skincare brand, is seeking a highly creative and strategic Director of Social to lead social media strategy, content development, and community engagement. Reporting to the VP of Content, this leader will shape an always-on social presence that builds brand awareness, deepens audience connection, and drives cultural relevance. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, storytelling, and building inclusive digital communities. They are an organized, collaborative multitasker who can balance creative instinct with performance data and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Partner closely with the VP of Content to lead the brand's social media presence across platforms, events, and partner collaborations. Develop and execute a social-first strategy focused on growing awareness, engagement, reach, and community participation. Lead the creative vision for social content, ensuring each platform has a distinct voice while maintaining a cohesive brand identity. Build always-on content programs and campaign strategies informed by cultural moments, audience behavior, and business priorities. Use analytics, reporting, and audience insights to optimize content performance, engagement, reach, and return on investment. Own the organic social content calendar and partner with internal and external teams to support paid social strategy. Manage, mentor, and develop the social media team, guiding creative and strategic pivots as needed.
