Soccer Shots Rochester is an engaging children's soccer experience with a focus on character development. We operate in childcare centers, elementary schools, afterschool programs, parks, and recreation centers all over the Greater Rochester Area. For more information visit our website:
Responsibilities:
  • ***Conduct high energy, creative and fun 45 minute sessions using the provided curriculum.
  • Instruct 5 - 10 sessions a week. (Equivalent to 5 - 10 hours)
  • Possibly instruct more than 10 sessions a week for the right candidate
  • Submit Availability three weeks prior to the start of a season
  • 10 week commitment to season once the schedule is set. Times and days of each instructors' scheduled sessions will not change
  • Travel to each assigned location weekly. Site to site travel may be required.
  • Provide a supervised, safe and caring environment for every child.
  • Maintain organized and clean provided soccer equipment.
  • Maintain and submit weekly attendance and invoices online.
  • Submit Standout Player nomination per season.
  • Attend coaches training day twice a year (Spring and Fall).
  • Attend Mid-Season Coaches meeting conference call per season.
  • Complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification within 2 weeks of hire
  • Continued growth and professional development under the supervisor of the Director of Coaching.
  • Commitment to the philosophy, goals, and core values of the Soccer Shots Franchise.

Qualifications:
  • Enthusiastic! Must enjoy interacting with young children (2 - 7 years old), and be able to engage and connect with them on their level, making the Soccer Shots class the best 40 minutes of their week.
  • Availability Monday through Friday between 9:00AM and 7:00PM
  • Availability Saturdays between 9:00AM and 12:00PM
  • Soccer experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Subject to a background check, Statewide Central Register Clearance, and a Staff Exclusion List check against abuse cases involving individuals with special needs.
  • *** Driver's license and Individual Transportation required***

Professional Development/Training:
  • Complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification within 2 weeks of hire.
  • Attend Coaches Training Day twice a year (Spring and Fall).
  • Attend Mid-Season Coaches meeting conference call per season.
  • Undergo a coaching evaluation by the Director of Coaching per season.

Compensation:
  • $18 - $22 per session, with opportunity to increase
  • Feedback bonuses per season.
