Job description

Director of Sales - Staffing and Recruiting

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly accomplished staffing sales professional to join our fully remote national sales team as a Director of Sales.

This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on new client acquisition and revenue production. It is not a people-management position. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter, relationship builder, and industry rainmaker who can leverage an established network to open doors with enterprise and mid-market clients.

We bring innovation to the way staffing services are delivered. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities while expanding our overall US market share.

Your primary focus will be growing our Service Model—and MSP solution for direct-hire recruiting—as well as our Direct Hire and Contingent Staffing Services for enterprise and mid-sized organizations across the United States.

If you are not a hunter, this is not the role for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Prospect and acquire new Fortune 1000 and mid-market clients.

    • Manage the complete sales process, from initial outreach and discovery through contract execution and client onboarding.

    • Develop and execute a strategic business-development plan focused on generating sustainable revenue growth.

    • Navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision-makers across Talent Acquisition, Procurement, HR, Operations, and executive leadership.

    • Leverage an established professional network to create new opportunities and accelerate sales conversations.

    • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic industry partners.

    • Identify opportunities to expand our Direct Hire, and Contingent Staffing solutions within new and existing accounts.

    • Collaborate with our fulfillment and account-management teams to ensure successful client launches and long-term account growth.

    • Represent our company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.

  • MUST HAVES
  • • 10+ years of successful professional staffing sales experience, including IT, Finance and Accounting, Engineering, or other professional disciplines.

    • Proven success acquiring new mid-market and enterprise clients within the professional staffing industry.

    • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding significant individual revenue and sales-production goals.

    • Strong relationships with Talent Acquisition, Procurement, MSP, Contingent Workforce, and executive decision-makers.

    • An established network within the professional staffing and talent ecosystem.

    • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

    • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently develop and close new business.

    • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a growing, fast-moving organization.

    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree.

    • Ability to travel and attend industry conferences approximately two to three times per year.

    • Strong technical proficiency with tools such as Zoom, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    • Must reside in the United States.

We are not considering candidates whose experience is primarily in healthcare or light-industrial staffing.

  • COMPENSATION:

    • Competitive base salary of $95,000 to $125,000, based on experience and demonstrated sales performance.

    • Uncapped commission potential.

    • Candidates with exceptional industry relationships and a proven production history may be considered at compensation levels appropriate to their experience.
