Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Salary: Up to $180,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional clinical care and outstanding resident outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about quality, mentorship, and making a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing environment.

Position Summary

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management, administration, and direction of the Nursing Department. The DON ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing operations and clinical services.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with all CMS, state, and federal regulations.

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention initiatives.

  • Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, and clinical outcomes.

  • Lead and mentor nursing managers and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to ensure exceptional care.

  • Manage department budgets and resource utilization.

  • Prepare for and lead regulatory surveys and audits.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.

  • Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations and survey processes.
