Summary
The Director of Operations is a hands-on leader responsible for managing and improving the day-to-day operations. This role ensures properties run efficiently, teams are supported, and residents receive high-quality service. The Director of Operations translates strategic objectives into operational execution, with a strong focus on property performance, resident experience, regulatory compliance, and team effectiveness.
This position is in-office, full-time, Monday - Friday.
Duties
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations across residential property management functions, including leasing, maintenance, resident services, compliance, and regional operations
  • Ensure consistent operational standards, policies, and procedures across all states and property portfolios
  • Drive operational excellence to maximize property performance, occupancy, and resident satisfaction
Strategic Execution & Growth
  • Partner with Executive Management to implement company strategy and long-term business plans
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, technology adoption, and service delivery
  • Help build and refine systems, workflows, and tools to support growth
  • Support acquisitions, transitions, and integration of new properties or markets
People & Organizational Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and operational teams.
  • Build a strong performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, succession planning, and leadership development
