Director Of Respiratory

Sage Specialty Hospital (LTAC) is currently seeking a Director of Respiratory to join our team in Opelousas, LA!

The Director of Respiratory plans, directs, organizes, leads and coordinates the day-to-day operation of the Respiratory Department. He/She develops and implements policies and procedures which are consistent with regulatory, accreditation, state and local requirements; and provides in-service for staff to include safety, infection control, and quality assurance; works with Administration to develop long range planning, budgeting, staffing, contributes and participates in all committees, as well as the management of employees and payroll for the Respiratory Department.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Program with national credentials
  • Current certification as a CRT or RRT in Louisiana
  • Current Basic Life Support / CPR card
  • 5 years management experience in respiratory care
  • Effective management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
