Position Overview
The Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic client relationships across Life Science Connect's suite of platforms. This role focuses on execution excellence, account expansion, and consistent delivery of client value.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow a defined portfolio of strategic accounts
• Execute account plans aligned to client business objectives
• Serve as primary day-to-day account owner
• Translate client goals into integrated marketing, media, data, and event solutions
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting discipline
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver client programs
Scope and Scale
• Account Portfolio: 6-12 strategic accounts
• Deal Complexity: Multi-product engagements across media, data, and events
• Sales Cycle: Mid-length, multi-stakeholder cycles
• Decision Authority: Owns execution; escalates strategic decisions
• Leadership Span: Cross-functional coordination without direct reports
