Position Summary:

As a Mobile Director of Nursing in a SNF setting, you are expected to provide complete supervision and management for the nursing department to facilities as assigned. You exercise discretion and independent judgment and are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties, including the ability to make independent choices, free from immediate direction or supervision. You are responsible for carrying out the operational core responsibilities and policies of the nursing department, established by the company and facility.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the states practiced in.

  • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of recent Director of Nursing experience with a history of excellent quality and survey outcomes.

  • Must understand federal, state, rules & regulations, and survey practices in your assigned area.

  • Must be able to travel, including overnight stays.
