Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Job Summary: Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of every facet of the Crisis Stabilization Units and the Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) programs and facilities. Plan, organize and direct diversified, multidisciplinary behavioral health and substance use programs. Provide guidance concerning the day-to-day delivery of established program processes to ensure smooth operation.

  • Supervises Nursing Managers for each of the Crisis Stabilization Units and the Program Director of the BHCC, working with each to address issues, staffing, and compliance, CAPs, providing clinical
  • Supervises management staff and other assigned clinical support staff within Crisis Services.
  • Works with the DBHDD Regional Office to ensure that individuals are placed quickly and moved from the ER's as quickly as possible
  • Monitors and works with team to maintain KPI's and expectations of DBHDD
  • Works to continuously improve quality of care on the units
  • Serves as liaison to internal programs of Highland Rivers Behavioral Health to establish good working relationships and communication for the benefit of individuals served.
  • Participates as a member of the Leadership Team and Quality Improvement team
  • Serves as an expert regarding the provision of related services.
  • Maintains programs budgets and actively monitors to reduce overtime and improve financial outcomes
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, Criminology, or a related field of study.
  • Active, unrestricted license in the state of Georgia: Registered Nurse, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • 3 - 5 years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia.
  • Greater than 5 years of management experience.
