We are seeking an experienced Director of Process Engineer (Northeast) for our First Quality facilities located in McElhattan, PA and Lewistown, PA.

Thispositionwillberesponsibleforleadingandimplementingprocessengineeringsystemmanagement,principles,andbestpracticesatallAbHysites.Theseeffortsincludedrivingchanges toalignwithallcross-functionaldepartmentstoProcessEngineeringbestpracticesand implementproductivityimprovementeffortsthatensurewearethehighestquality,lowestcostproducerinthemarket.Inaddition,willprovidesystems,methods,andtrainingstoensureteammembershavetheappropriateinformation,knowledge,andskillstodeliverbestinclasssafety,qualityprinciples,machineequipment,costandsystemreliabilitytothemarketplace.

PrincipalAccountabilities/Responsibilities:

• WorkscloselywiththecrossfunctionalOperations,Planning,Quality,Maintenance,andEngineeringleaderstodrivedivisionalalignmentandprojectsfortheNortheastsitesof theAbHydivision.

• Drivesefficiencyimprovementandscrapreductioneffortsthroughtheapplicationofcontinuousimprovementtoolsconsistentlyacrossallplants.

• Providesroadmapandtrainingfortheeffectiveimplementationofreliability,centerlining,pinning,andruntotargetprocessesusingallavailablesystemsandresourcesacrossallplants.

• SetsstandardsforengineeringsystemsandpracticesanddrivestheseacrosstheAbHy divisionsofthecompany.

• Drivesandownsproductivityprojectsandinvolvesplantpersonneltoachievetargets acrossalldepartmentsconsistentlyacrossallplants.

• Providesspecificexpertise,training,andguidanceonsoftware,dataanalytics,SPC,andbestpracticesusingindustrystandardtoolsandprocesses.

• Buildsateamtoprovideexcellenceinserviceandmanagementofsystemandprocess reliabilityacrossthedivision.

• Playsakeyroleinpartneringwithcrossfunctionalteamstoensurerawmaterialsand processesaremeetingspecificationsanddesignparametersconsistentlyatallsites.

• Abilitytooperateasanindividualcontributorandleaderasneededbasedonbusiness dynamicsandfacilitationneeds.

• Supportsandpromotessafepracticesandenvironmentalcommitmentsinalignmentwithcompanycommitments,policies,andcompliancerequirements.

• Developproposals,budgets,CERs,andpurchaserecommendationsasneeded.

• Develops,implements,andfacilitatestrainingprogramsinengineeringpractices.

• Developsengineeringimprovementobjectivesandcontenttomeettheneedsoftheteammembers.

• Facilitatesandperformsprocessengineeringworkshops.

• Additionaldutiesasrequired.

Qualifications/educationandexperiencerequirements:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinEngineering

• Minimumoftenyearsofexperienceinahigh-speedmanufacturingenvironmentandleadingrapidcontinuousimprovement.

• Minimumoffiveyearsofallbusiness-relatedsoftwaresystemsexperience.

• BlackBelt/SixSigmacertificationpreferred.

Skills/competenciesrequirements:

• ExceptionalanalyticalproblemsolverandhastraininginSPCandDOEwith demonstratedsuccessesapplyingtheseprinciples.

• Proventrackrecordofimplementingnewsystemsandprocedures.

• StrongpersonalcomputerproficiencywithMSOfficeandallrelatedsoftware

• Excellentcommunicationskillsbothoralandwrittenwithexecutivepresence.

• Demonstratedabilitytoactasabusinesspartner.

• Data-driven,disciplined,objectiveanddetailoriented.

• Strongexperiencewithleanmanufacturingstrategiesusedtoreducewaste(i.e.-materialpullsystem).

• StrongexperiencewithErrorProofingandDesignprinciples.
