What is a director of personal training?

A Director of Personal Training oversees the personal training department within a fitness facility or gym. Their responsibilities include managing personal trainers, developing training programs, ensuring high-quality client service, and meeting revenue goals. They often recruit, train, and supervise staff, while also creating strategies to grow the department and retain clients.
