To help support that mission, we're seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of wholesale and retail marketing initiatives that help bring our products and values to more people. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, retailers, distributors, and brokers to support product launches, retail programs, customer marketing opportunities, trade shows, and international initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and values-driven, with a passion for building strong retail partnerships, supporting customer growth, and helping a growing purpose-driven company expand its impact.
The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the Badger mission by serving as the central point of coordination for wholesale, retail, tradeshow, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. This role manages the flow of work across the department and helps with the execution of retail programs, product launches, tradeshows, major brand initiatives, and emerging international marketing efforts.
Essential Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations Coordination
• Manage Wrike for wholesale, retail, international, tradeshow, and other cross-functional marketing initiatives
• Monitor all incoming marketing requests and ensure proper routing and execution
• Coordinate cross-functionally to build timelines for product launches, campaigns, and retail marketing programs
• Traffic assets across teams and external partners
• Ensure deliverables are clearly scoped, assigned, communicated and delivered on time
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks quickly, with the assistance of the team leader
• Coordinate planning, logistics, and follow-up for sales and marketing team meetings throughout the year.
Wholesale and Retail Marketing Coordination
• Aid with the development and execution of wholesale and retail marketing initiatives
• Coordinate retailer-specific programs, promotional campaigns, and product launches
• Partner with Sales to assist customer marketing opportunities and account-specific initiatives
• Coordinate development and distribution of marketing assets for retailers, distributors, and brokers
• Ensure brand and campaign consistency across wholesale, retail, and in-store marketing programs
• Backup analysis of retail and wholesale marketing program effectiveness
Tradeshow & Event Management
• Lead marketing coordination of major tradeshows, including Expo West
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and vendor coordination for events
• Ensure all booth assets, materials, and messaging are prepared and delivered
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs including product, creative, and sales team needs
• Help with on-site execution and post-event follow-up
International Marketing Coordination
• Assist with development and execution of international marketing initiatives
• Coordinate international marketing assets, timelines, and partner needs
• Ensure consistency of brand and messaging across international channels
• Assist in developing international marketing support processes, asset management systems, and communication standards.
• Provide weekly updates to Director of Marketing on all active initiatives
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment at Badger by reporting any issues or injuries immediately and participating in all safety training.
• Other duties as assigned.
Pay starting at $65,000; salary is commensurate to experience.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
• With degree - 3 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, retail marketing, trade marketing, or coordination roles.
• Without degree - 8+ years of CPG marketing experience, including expertise in the personal care category.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Experience with project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Monday, etc.)
• Experience supporting retail, wholesale, trade marketing, or customer-facing marketing programs preferred
Skills:
• Highly organized with strong execution discipline
• Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy
• Strong communicator across teams and levels
• Proactive problem solver
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements for the job include, but are not limited to: prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Employees should be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
