Regional Director of Operations - ABA

Location: Montebello, NY, 10901

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and growth-focused Regional Director of Operations to help lead the next phase of expansion for a rapidly growing ABA organization. Currently operating successfully in one state, the company is preparing for significant multi-state growth and is looking for a leader who has experience building operations from the ground up.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, opening new markets, launching de novo locations, developing scalable systems, and ensuring strong financial and clinical performance across all regions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who thrives in high-growth environments and has a proven track record of successfully scaling healthcare or ABA organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational growth and expansion initiatives across multiple states.
  • Develop and execute market-entry strategies for new state launches and de novo locations.
  • Build operational infrastructure, policies, procedures, and workflows that support scalable growth.
  • Partner with executive leadership to create and implement strategic growth plans.
  • Oversee clinic operations, staffing models, productivity metrics, and financial performance.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor regional and local operational leaders.
  • Establish accountability systems and performance standards across all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, payer requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies.
  • Work closely with clinical leadership to support quality care, client satisfaction, and positive patient outcomes.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase profitability and scalability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
  • 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations.
  • Strong ABA, behavioral health, healthcare services, or related experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience launching new locations, new markets, or multi-state operations.
  • Experience building teams, systems, and operational infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, P amp;L management, and operational analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead through rapid growth and organizational change.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently as expansion efforts require.
