What would you do as a Director of Development

As a vital member of the school leadership team, the Director of Development at James Island Christian School plays a crucial role in advancing the mission and vision of our Christ-centered educational institution. Acting as a key operational and relational partner to the Head of School, this position focuses on ensuring financial sustainability through effective fundraising and donor stewardship. To excel as the Director of Development at James Island Christian School, candidates must possess a combination of educational qualifications and practical experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master's degree and/or Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation being highly desirable.
